Not much new

So yesterday I hit a low point.  I miss home and I am tired of icky campground bathrooms!  However today I am felling a bit better.  I think I was down partly because we are on the Fundy coast a part of NS that we aren't really feeling.  Not that dramatic and I think watching the tide come in is just boring. We had planned to visit PEI but are now rethinking that idea.  The tourist info looks very nice but it also looks very touristy.  We don't do touristy very well.  We do like the historic touristy but the mini golf, amusement park, shopping mall is not for us.  So we are looking at other options.  Also gas went up $.08/L last night.  Those gas prices in CO are not looking so bad now. This part of the country does have lots of farms and wineries and so there are a lot of farm stands and some beautiful produce that I missed so much in NL. We stopped at an Herb Farm yesterday that had the most artistic display of jellies, herbs and liqueurs that I have ever seen.
 
The weather has been hot, 30 yesterday!  (I am learning celsius, eh?) It is to get cooler today which has also contributed to my improved mood.
We are on a break here in a McDonald's attached to a Wal Mart which could lead me into a rant on "American culture good or bad", which sounds like a CBC talk radio program topic but the oil change on the truck should be done by now so I will hold that thought till later.
