There is a bit of a learning curve to the refrigerator as it turns out. Super cool when we are parked overnight but as soon as we move the pilot light goes out. Bruce put some tape over the vent and that seemed to help but then we read on the internet that was not a good idea. With the tape on the vent the light stayed lit but the darn thing is still heating up to about 50 degrees during the day. It has been hot out, but still. We have a few days in Madison coming up to figure it out.

I have never been a fan of big box stores or fast food but I am beginning to adjust my attitude. We were looking for a quick internet check and just happened to be by a Staples, free wifi! In the parking lot. Just enough to look up what we needed. The next day while filling up with gas we were again able to connect thanks to McDonalds next to the gas station, free wifi. We already knew that you can park overnight for free at Walmart and may do that yet on this trip but last night we were very far from any stores or wifi.
We were the only people camped by a small lake in the Sandhills.

After a morning bike ride on the Cowboy Trail rail trail we visited the town where Bruce's Mom was born and the Friends Meeting that they attended. We found quite a few graves with the Henderson name that we will have to ask about.
Tonight we are staying in a small campground with wifi! We drove around with the ipad connected to find the strongest signal. First time I have ever chosen a camp site based on internet strength. Not sure that is a good thing, I never even glanced at the lake!

Great job on the Blog Ann! Enjoy Madison:)
