Whew!  We are starting to count down the days till we take off!  We have given notice at work, our camper should be ready on Thursday and we are trying to deal with the details of leaving.  I don't know how people sell everything and cut all ties to a place, I like to feel like I belong somewhere.  We are so lucky to live in a beautiful place that offers so much.
We have decided that since we will in Canada so much of our trip we should not buy a smartphone.  I have read horror stories of people with phone bills in the thousands of dollars in roaming and data charges. But I know it will be hard to give up some of my internet interests.
What else will I miss?  Walking with friends, my bathtub, electric tea pot, making beer, the mountains, HCB class. But, I hope that I gain so much more from travel.  I always come home energized, with lots of plans and ideas.
Now, does anyone know how to make a smoothie without a blender?
