We stopped in Clayton just over the NM/TX border for coffee. A very friendly town, actually everyone in Texas was really friendly.

Palo Duro was very pretty, kind of like Utah, just smaller.

3.5 miles straight on the Caprock Canyon Rail Trail.
Clarity Tunnel, home to Mexican Free Tail bats, most of whom were not home.
Other end of the tunnel, easier to ride back the slight downhill kept us from bogging down in the thick powdery debris.
