In Newfoundland we hiked more than rode but back on the mainland there have been some pretty great rides. In New Brunswick we did a combination of gravel pathway and dirt trail. I was very apprehensive about the "elevated" boardwalk sections. I was thinking North Shore style narrow and high sections of the trail. It turned out to be "elevated" about 6" and pretty wide. Not too bad!

In Stowe the trails were difficult enough that I hiked them while Bruce rode but in Michigan we found a great trail system. We did 9 miles of trail, mixed sand, rock and dirt. Beautiful and fun. At least it was fun except for the section where I thought we missed a trail marker and were on a 17 mile one way loop. Lucky for me we had not missed our cut off.
