A Rainy Night and Good Internet

Well!  A lot to catch up on.  It has been hard to get both internet access and power at the same time.  Or if we do the speed is so slow it makes me crazy.  But tonight we have it all.
It is a cool rainy evening and we are tucked up in our cozy camper.  Today has been the first day of a lot of rain and we have been saying that we are so happy to have the camper and not be stuck in a damp, crowded tent.  The camper has been great.  Just enough room and warm and dry.  The refrigerator is working well and we don't even cry any more when we fill the tank.  Gas can jump 4-6 cents in a day here and that is by the liter.  We just shrug now.  Most gas stations don't even bother posting the prices.  We reached a high of $1.35L and now we are back down to about $1.29.  Hope it keeps going down.
We have seen some amazingly beautiful country. Here are some photos from Gros Morne National Park.

The Tablelands
Gros Morne is a large and varied park.  There are mountains, lots of lakes (ponds as they say in Canada), interesting geology and coastal areas with fishing ports and lighthouses. The tablelands is a barren area where some of the oldest rocks in the world make up the surface.  It looks much like land above tree line in Colorado.

Gros Morne is in two sections and after hiking and traveling in the southern section we decided to leave the north for our return.  Off instead on the Viking Trail to look for ice bergs and Vikings!
