We made it to Canada! We are settled for a second night in Fundy National Park. A very quiet location on the Bay of Fundy. A few small beaches, lots of shady hiking trails and the bay. We did a hike along the coast high on the bluffs above the water today.
A few days ago we made a short trip to Campobello Island part of Canada but just off the Maine Coast. It was the boyhood summer home of FD Roosevelt and he continued to visit till his death. The "cottage" is beautiful and not as luxurious as you would expect the home of a wealthy family to be.

| Bathroom, big tub! |

| Boys room, love the model plane hanging from the ceiling. |
 |
| Laundry room, I had never seen a wood stove with the irons warming. Laundry day must have been brutal. |

We arrived just in time for tea and were served tea and cookies while a very informative guide told us about the family history and Mrs. Roosevelt. A beautiful FREE museum!
That day was beautiful so we also visited the East and West Quoddy Lighthouses. The eastern light is accessible only during low tide when you can walk out to it.

Tonight the weather is to turn so we will travel over to Nova Scotia tomorrow and hope for sunnier skies. I am so happy that we have a dry, cozy camper and not some of the tents of our past trips!!!
