I am freaking out just a bit!!!!!!

I never imagined that it would be so hard to put a few things on hold for the summer!
 
The Post Office does not want to hold mail for more than 30 days.  So, what if you are gone longer?  Well, someone will have to pick up the mail for you.  After all they are not a storage facility and have no space to keep your mail.  However, you could pay $38/year for a PO Box.  What happens when it gets too full?  They hold it for you.  Apparently they do have space to hold mail for those who pay the charge for a box $38!

Next I called Comcast to suspend our cable.  Which they are happy to do.  For $10.99 a month!  Wait, did he just say Comcast will charge me $10.99 a month to not get cable?  Yes, and they are happy to do that.  Since we have the most basic cable and that costs us only about $21/month $10.99/month to not get their service seems excessive.
Anyone want to come over and watch cable at our house this summer is welcome!

In Evergreen we pay for trash pick up and I am glad to say that EDS is happy to stop picking up our trash for a few months and will NOT CHARGE us for not picking up the trash.  THANK YOU!

So many little detail to work out that I thought would be easy.  I guess daily life is more complicated than I thought!
